A Systems Approach to Success
A wise mentor once told me that in order to have success, I needed the ability to repeat the processes that were creating success in my business and my life.
In other words … systems for success.
This was difficult as I don’t naturally think in a process and procedure way. However, after he spoke, I realized that I needed systems in my life if I wanted to achieve a higher level of success.
That said … here are 3 systems that I utilize in my daily life. And when I am consistent and follow the processes I have in place; I create more, produce more, succeed, more, and have a greater senses of accomplishment.
3 Systems For Success:
- Monthly Goals Call – Every month for an hour I have the opportunity to work through a process with an amazing group of people to help me establish my goals for the month. At the end of the month we go over our results and tracking and set goals for the following month.
- 5-5-5 Daily Accountability Call – Monday through Friday at 5:15 AM , yes AM, I spend 15 minutes checking in on my weekly goals (a subsystem of the monthly goals call) with some of the same amazing people from the monthly call.
- Daily Meditation – I refer to this as the un-system. This is the time I use to stop thinking, stop analyzing, stop doing, and just be. I spend so much time thinking during the day that sometimes I just need to shut the system down and let go. And when I do this I find that the efficiency and effectiveness of the other systems improves dramatically!
